The Platinum Spas VX2 Hot Tub Cover Lifter makes removing and replacing your hot tub cover quick and easy. It is made from powder-coated aluminium tubing with non-corrosive composite mounting brackets, so it is durable and simple to install.
Less Effort, Less Wear on Your Cover
Lifting a heavy, wet cover by hand can be awkward and can damage the cover over time. A lifter lets you fold and slide it back smoothly, keeping it off the ground and in better condition.
A towel hook accessory holds up to three towels, dressing gowns or clothes so they stay dry and within reach. It works with hot tubs and swim spas up to 2.9 metres wide and needs just 10 to 15 inches of clearance behind the spa and 5 inches on each side. It weighs 2kg. The spa is not included.

Test the water regularly with test strips, keep sanitiser levels balanced and clean or replace the filter cartridges as advised in the manual. Shower before using the hot tub to keep the water cleaner for longer.
Saving Energy
Keep the insulated lid on and secured whenever the hot tub is not in use, and use a ground mat to reduce heat loss through the floor. Topping up with warm water and keeping the tub in a sheltered spot also helps.
First Fill and Heat Up
Fill the hot tub with a garden hose to the marked level, check the filter is fitted and switch on the heater with the lid closed. Heating from cold can take many hours depending on the starting water temperature and the weather, so plan your first fill a day ahead.
Enjoying It Safely
Keep the water at or below 40°C, limit soak times and stay hydrated. Children must always be supervised, and keep the lid secured when the hot tub is not in use.
