koolatron-electric-cool-box-27l
Koolatron 27L 12V Electric Cool and Warm Box with Strap, Grey, Holds 48 Cans

Koolatron 12V Electric Cooler 27L, Cool/Warm Box with Adjustable Strap in Grey

The Koolatron 27L is a 12V electric cool box that keeps food chilled on the road or warm for the journey home, ready for road trips, picnics and family gatherings. It holds up to 48 standard cans and runs from your vehicle's 12V outlet, with a 230V adaptor included for use at home. Set it up chest-style like a classic cooler, or stand it upright as a portable mini-fridge.

Why Thermoelectric Beats Melting Ice

Ice-filled cool boxes turn sandwiches soggy and need restocking every few hours, and they cannot keep a dish warm. Koolatron uses thermoelectric technology that cools to 22°C below the surrounding temperature or warms to 57°C. It is not affected by the movement of your vehicle, so it keeps working on bumpy roads. The 12V DC cord draws 5 amps or 60 watts, and advanced insulation holds temperatures steadily. An injection moulded hard exterior protects the contents, while a secure sliding lock stops the lid opening if the box tips.

Practical Features for Long Journeys

Cool or warm mode: chills to 22°C below ambient or warms to 57°C, so takeaway or hot dishes travel well too.

Chest or upright use: lay it flat as a classic cool box or stand it up as a handy portable mini-fridge.

12V and 230V power: plug into the car outlet on the move, then use the included 230V adaptor indoors.

Secure sliding lock: prevents accidental opening, keeping food and drinks safely inside on twisty roads.

12V Electric Cool Box Specifications

Attribute

Specification

Brand

Koolatron

Type

Electric cool box

Capacity

27L, holds up to 48 cans

Colour

Grey and white

Material

Plastic, injection moulded hard exterior

Cooling

Up to 22°C below surrounding temperature

Warming

Up to 57°C

Power

12V DC cord (5A / 60W), 230V AC adaptor included

Dimensions

H 38.7 x W 43.8 x D 38.7cm

Weight

5.11kg

Features

Sliding lock, moulded inset handles, adjustable strap, stain-resistant interior

Made for Road Trips and Family Days Out

Pack cold drinks and lunches for the motorway, then switch to warming mode to bring a casserole to a relative's house.
